Introduction to Botanical Art Workshop with Erin Forsyth

South Sea Spray is pleased to present a botanical illustration workshop with artist Erin Forsyth. In this workshop you will learn the foundations of making beautiful botanical artwork. This is a short introductory course focussed on what to look for and how to convey what you observe visually to create informative and appealing images. Before the class you will receive information about what to prepare for making your very own botanical artwork during the class and in the future. The workshop is suitable for people who enjoy drawing and painting of all skill levels and is recommended for those 13 – 130!

Erin Forsyth is a participating mural artist in South Sea Spray and a renowned botanical and natural history illustrator. Her work can be found in public places like the Beehive, Auckland Museum, Auckland Zoo and Central City Library as well as homes throughout the country.
